Fatboy® : The Beanbag makes a come back!

KHE on May 29th 2007 11:00 pm

Just in time for summer fun at the beach – I know which ones I plan to purchase now if I could just decide on the colors.

The beanbag has made a come back and the come back if I may mention, is back better than the original. Fatboy® was created by Finnish designer Jukka Setälä as the beanbag from the 21st century. These babies come in a variety of colors, shapes and potential uses from kids rooms, extra seating in your media room/den, by the pool or at the beach, a garden hammock and there’s even a Fatboy® for your dog or cat.

Fatboy® doggielounge
Fatboy® catbag
Fatboy® headdemock
Fatboy® outdoor
Fatboy® Marimekko®

Fatboy® is made from either a Nylon or Polyester fabric and has a PVC coating to make them water resistant and stain resistant. The fatboy is filled with virgin polystyrene beads, while the headdemock is padded with layers of fabric and a non woven mesh.

Remains Lighting: Recent Acquisitions

KHE on May 28th 2007 09:24 pm

Remains Lighting was founded by David Calligeros in 1996, they carry Antique Lighting pieces that have been restored and sold under their “Antique Collection”, in addition, they also create a modernized reproduction and newly inspired creations of these Classic pieces that they have available through their “Permanent Collection”. They have showrooms in NYC, Chicago and LA and may be viewed and purchased through Holly Hunt in Atlanta and DC.

This first lantern is no doubt my favorite, its clean lines, shape and modest detail - I love looking at it.
